Data Deletion Instructions — Voxon Chat Agent

This page explains how to ask us to delete the personal data processed through our application on the Meta platform (the "App") and the AI assistant it powers. It is provided alongside our Privacy Policy.

What data we hold

The assistant replies to messages sent to the Facebook Pages of the businesses that use our service. For the people who message those Pages we process:

  • your page-scoped ID (PSID) and message timestamps;
  • the content of the messages you send to the Page;
  • any name, phone number or booking/enquiry details you provide in the chat.

The business whose Page you messaged is the data controller of this data; we process it on that business's behalf. We can delete the records in our own system and will forward your request to that business where appropriate.

How to request deletion

If you messaged a business's Page

Email info@voxon.gr with the subject "Data deletion" and include:

  • the Facebook Page you contacted, and
  • the approximate date of your conversation (and your name as used in the chat, if any), so we can locate your records.

We will delete the records we hold, ask the business (the controller) to do the same where applicable, and confirm completion within one month (extendable by up to two further months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you). We may ask you to verify your identity before acting.

If you are a Page administrator who connected the App

You can disconnect at any time in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, or in your Meta Business portfolio settings. When the App is removed, Meta notifies us and we delete the associated Page-connection data and access tokens. You can also email info@voxon.gr to request this directly.

What gets deleted, and when

  • Conversation content is in any case automatically deleted within 90 days of the last message; a deletion request removes it sooner.
  • Page-connection data and access tokens are deleted within 60 days after a Page is disconnected or the App is removed.
  • Booking and contact details held for the business are deleted on request, except where the business or the law requires them to be kept (for example tax or warranty records); we will tell you if an exception applies.

We retain data past these points only where the law requires it.
